Global Environment Network (GEN)


Global Environment Network is a volunteer driven network launched with the objective to bring people concerned about Environment under one roof. This network will provide opportunities for people concerned with Environment to share opinions and ideas which will be discussed and converted in to actions .


Advocacy in all its forms seeks to ensure that people, particularly those who are most vulnerable in society, are able to:



  • Have their voice heard on issues that are important to them.
  • Defend and safeguard their rights.
  • Have their views and wishes genuinely considered when decisions are
    being made about their lives.

INDIAN GREEN SERVICE strongly believes that the voices of people should be heard to bring an end to one of the biggest threats to sheer existence of mankind – ENVIRONMENT DEGRADATION. The voice of the people should be heard collectively and the voice should lead to a solution and in turn to a committed and sincere action

Save our Planet is an initiative of Indian Green Service with an objective to spread awareness and create a sense of responsibility among the next generation youth in schools and colleges about ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION

  • The Salient Features of the Workshop:
  • Practical exposure to solid waste management in institutions
  • Setting up of simple waste management structures in campuses
  • Simple methods of organic manure production and composting.
  • Concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle explained in the practical sense.
  • Demonstration of simple paper recycling methods and setting up of home kitchen gardens.

Philosophy of form following function prevalent in modernism. These designs represent the ideals of cutting excess, practicality and an absence of decoration. These forms of lamps are visually light and follow minimalist principles of design which are influenced by architectural concepts like the cantilever.
